The CardioPAL SAVI Wireless Cardiac Event Monitor brings Medicomp Inc.'s renowned Diogenes algorithm into a world without boundaries. Diogenes is the only ECG algorithm FDA cleared to analyze rate, rhythm, morphology, and p-wave abnormalities.
SAVI Wireless will allow a patient who is suspected of having cardiac arrhythmia to wear Medicomp's proprietary ECG recorder, a small portable device, for an extended period of time. The monitor collects ECG data and sends it to a wireless Smartphone via Bluetooth. Proprietary software on the Smartphone then analyzes the ECG and sends the clinically relevant symptomatic and asymptomatic arrhythmia to Medicomp's 24/7/365 Cardiac Monitoring Center. Certified cardiac technicians review the data and prepare reports for the physician.
The new system will be versatile enough to ultimately receive data from a variety of sources that will be monitoring several disease states in a single patient, and collate the various biomarkers along a common time axis.
