Compliance Manager

The Compliance Manager will implement and direct all aspects of healthcare operation subject to Regulation.  Includes documentation review, internal process audits, external site and vendor audits and follow-up, providing guidance and training to all operational areas, ensuring appropriate systems and procedures are in place to comply with applicable regulations and guidelines, United Therapeutics SOPs, Medicomp SOPs, regulatory agencies and study requirements. Reports to Medicomp President with dotted line to UT's EVP, Regulatory Affairs and Compliance.

 

Must possess and maintain strong working knowledge of all applicable healthcare regulations and guidelines.  

 

Implement and maintain a comprehensive compliant quality program.  

 

Will administer and manage the following compliance programs in their entirety:

FDA

Florida Department of Health

CMS compliance

OIG

HIPAA

AHCA

OSHA

UT's internal policies

Will be contact for Insurance Commissioner.

 

Conduct regular monthly research of all the above agencies to maintain current knowledge and to audit for upcoming changes; disseminate information to affected areas.  Research will include all items applicable to new business initiatives and ongoing compliance.

 

Will assume board seat on the Remote Cardiac Services Provider Group from President.

 

Review and execute implementation of incoming insurance contracts.

 

Plan and conduct external site and vendor audits according to United Therapeutics and Medicomp SOPs. 

 

Plan and conduct internal mock and scheduled audits according to United Therapeutics and Medicomp SOPs.

 

Prepare audit responses and evaluate adequacy of corrective actions.

 

Identify and develop Standard Operating Procedures and systems needed to comply with regulatory requirements.

 

Plan and conduct internal clinical process audits according to United Therapeutics and Medicomp SOPs.

 

Perform database quality assurance audits.

 

Provide weekly summary reports to management of audit activities.

 

Coordinate and conduct Quarterly regulatory maintenance training programs. applicable to all departments.

 

Execute regulatory applications, submissions and correspondence.

 

Conduct regular audits of all healthcare operations documentation.
