United Therapeutics Cares™ – Text Message Terms & Condition

These terms and conditions apply to individuals who have consented to receive text message communications from United Therapeutics Corporation and its agents, including service providers on its behalf (collectively, “United Therapeutics”) as part of enrollment in and administration of United Therapeutics Cares (“United Therapeutics Cares”).

  1. By opting in to receive text messages, you have consented to receive automated text message communications from United Therapeutics in connection with the administration of United Therapeutics Cares.
  2. You are not required to consent to receive text messages to participate in United Therapeutics Cares, purchase any goods or services, or to receive any other communications you have selected.
  3. You can opt out of receiving texts from United Therapeutics Cares by replying “STOP” to any message at any time. An unsubscribe message will be sent to your mobile number confirming the cancellation, but no more messages will be sent after that one.
  4. You can text “HELP” in response to any message to receive help.
  5. The number of text messages you receive will vary in frequency. There is no fee payable to United Therapeutics to receive text messages; however, your carrier's message and data rates may apply.
  6. Any data that United Therapeutics may collect from you in connection with United Therapeutics Cares will be handled in accordance with the United Therapeutics Privacy Statement, available at www.unither.com/privacy.
  7. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
  8. United Therapeutics cannot guarantee the successful delivery of text messages. Factors beyond the control of United Therapeutics may impact message delivery, including equipment range and functionality, network capacity, terrain, proximity to buildings, foliage, and weather. Neither United Therapeutics nor your mobile service provider carrier will be held liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  9. The text message program may not be available on all US carriers.
